By Air

Thekkady, it doesn't have an airport of its own. The nearest domestic airport to Thekkady is Madurai airport, which is located at a distance of 136 kilometers from Thekkady. There are flights connecting Madurai Airport to various Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata.

The nearest International Airport is the Cochin International Airport, it is approximately 190 km away from the heart of Thekkady. Cochin Airport is well connected with all major cities in India and Abroad. The best way to get to Thekkady from Cochin is by hiring a taxi/cab.

By Train

The nearest railway station to Thekkady is in Kottayam which is roughly 110 km away. This station is well-connected to major cities across India. By Bus
